we’re used to talking about horsepower when it comes to cars, but a new prototype we’ve heard about takes this to a different level.
a giant running machine is built inside the vehicle, and when the horse that’s standing on top starts to gallop, its motion is what drives the wheels.

a quarter of motorists are putting their lives at risk when they break down on the motorway in bad weather.
research by the rac foundation found these drivers would rather remain dry in their cars than seek the safety of the grass verge. women were most at risk, with 33 per cent staying put, even in good conditions.
between 1994 and 2004, a total of 124 people died on the hard shoulder. as a result, the rac is urging all drivers to follow the highway code’s advice and get behind the safety barrier.
